Gindi TLV Fashion Week outfit #3

This is the third outfit that I wore to fashion week. Actually, it was totally unplanned since I did go to some morning shows on the second day, but I did not intend to return in the evening. I am so glad that I did! The show I saw was by Alon Livne and for me, this was the best one. Also, I got to sit at the first row and to see up close the spectacular work of the designer. The quality of the sawing and the fabrics were perfect and the shapes....left me speechless....

A funny little detail about this outfit, I wore this skirt to my prom night, when I was seventeen!!!  It's true that quality and a classic cut never go out of style.

בחמישי האחרון ביקרתי בהשקת קולקציית אביב / קיץ של המעצב אלון ליבנה. למי שלא רואה טלויזיה (כמוני), אלון ליבנה היה המנצח של העונה הראשונה (וכנראה האחרונה), של תוכנית הריאליטי "פרוייקט מסלול". ההשקה נערכה בחלל קטן ומעוצב בדרום תל אביב והבגדים הולבשו על דוגמניות מהממות (ולא אנרוקסיות!!) שצעדו סביב מחיצה שהועמדה בקידמת החדר.

הקולקציה עוצבה בהשארת מבחני רורשאך ועל כן שלט בה הצבע השחור שהתפרש על פני כתמים סימטריים כמעט בכל פריט בתצוגה. הבגדים הם בגדי ערב ובהם מבחר רחב של שמלות סקסיות ביותר. אם זו שמלה שחלקה העליון שקוף כמעט לגמרי או שמלה צמודה וקצרצרה עם קריצות של שקיפות במקומות "אסרטגיים".

מאוד מצאו חן בעיני דווקא הפריטים בצבעים האביביים יותר. מכנסי משי, חולצה ושמלה בפלטת צבעים שמזכירה מאוד ציור אמפרסיוניסטי.אגב, גם הם נלקחו ישירות ממבחן הרורשאך שמורכב בחלקו מכרטיסיות בצבעים פסטליים. מאוד הרשימו גם התכשיטים הדומיננטיים שהשתלבו היטב עם הבגדים.

המחירים לא זולים אך לפי מה שהבנתי, הבדים אמורים להיות איכותיים ביותר. הבגדים תפורים ממשי, כותנה בעיבוד מיוחד, עור ומולסין.

מכנסיים / חצאיות- 750-1300 ₪ . שמלות- 1500-8000 ₪.  חולצות- 1300-2500 ₪. ז'קטים- 2800 ₪ . שרשראות- 750-1000 ₪. עגילים- 490-690 ₪.

This Thursday I visited the launch of the Spring/Summer collection of the designer - Alon Livne.Alon got famous due to his  winning in the local "project runway" show. The launch was held in a nice, small space in the south of Tel-Aviv and was preformed as a fashion show with really gorgeous models.


The inspiration for the collection was the Rorschach test and hence, the strongest color in the show was black that was placed as large patters on most of the garments. The collection is mainly designed for the evening and is very sexy. It contains a large variety of short or/and see through dresses.


Additionally, a part of the garments were influenced by the colored Rorschach test. Pastels that remind an impressionist painting were especially beautiful. Also interesting were the dominant accessories that often seemed as a part of the garment.


The prices are not cheap but from my understanding, the fabrics are top quality and consist of silk, leather, cotton with a special treatment and muslin.

pants/ skirts - 750-1300 nis, dresses - 1500-8000 nis, shirts 1300-2500 nis, jackets - 2800 nis, necklaces - 750 -1000 nis, earrings 490-690 nis.
