Depeche Mode fan

I love this outfit since it includes one of my favorite T-shirts - the one that I got at the Depeche Mode concert. The problem with bands memorabilia clothes is the that usually, you cannot try them on. Luckily, this tee fits like a glove!

Bye bye big bag

That's it, no more huge bags. The bags for this season are all quite simple and relatively small. I guess that's also the Mad Men influence hehe. Some of the bags really remind the ones that were most trendy in the sixties.
I have to say that I'm all for this trend. Big bags are heavy and you can never find anything in them. No wonder that one time, when we went dancing, a friend of mine found a fork and a small tea pot in her enormous bag instead of a wallet.

מיס נוסטלגיה

ביום שישי, ה 3.09.2010 , נערך טקס בחירת מיס נוסטלגיה. הטקס נערך בקפה זיסלע שנמצא ברחוב ריינס 20, בתל אביב ואורגן על ידי אסתר ושמעון.
לצערי לא נוכחתי בתחרות עצמה אבל כן יצא לי לתפוס חלק מהמתמודדות לתמונה קבוצתית.

On Friday, the 03.09.2010, was held a ceremony of Miss Nostalgia.
Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the ceremony itself but I did get the chance to take a group photo of part of the contestants.

כל כך שמחתי לגלות שגם אצלנו יש אירועי וינטאג' ואני מקווה לראות עוד הרבה כאלה!

את רעיון מסיבות הונטאג' הכרתי בעיקר מהבלוג - diaryofavintagegirl. הבלוג כולל בתוכו סיקור של מסיבות שנות ה-40 בבריטניה. התמונות נהדרות ואני מאוד ממליצה לבקר בו למי שלא עשתה זאת עד עכשיו!

I was so glad to find out that vintage events exist in our country and I really hope to see more of them.
