מוזיאון חולון לעיצוב

ביום שלישי האחרון סופסוף יצא לי לבקר במוזיאון העיצוב בחולון. התערוכה שמוצגת כרגע היא "אופנה מכאנית".

I finally got to visit the new design museum this Tuesday. The exhibition that is on display right now is called Mechanical fashion.

כמה דוגמאות מהתערוכה :

עיצוב הנעליים האלו נעשה בעזרת תוכנה מיוחדת. התוכנה מתרגמת תשובות של הנשאל לגבי אישיותו, לקווים שיוצרים בסופו של התהליך, את הדוגמה של הנעל.

These shoes are created by a program that asks a person a few question about his/her character and then builds a model of the shoes best suited for those characteristics.

עוד בתערוכה - שמלת מוזיקה שעשויה מסליל קלטות, שמלה עם שרשרת שעובדת ככלי נגינה, חולצה עם השתקפות, בגדים "חיים" שמשנים צורה עם שינוי הסביבה ועוד.

לאחר הביקור במוזיאון צפינו בסרט על מרק ג'ייקובס ולואי ויטון. הסרט מעולה ומאוד מאוד מומלץ!!!

סופ"ש נעים!!!

I wore a shirt from TNT, vintage jacket, vintage Calvin Klein jeans, a belt from mother's closet, Tsubo shoes and a Kipling bag.

After the museum we went to watch a movie about Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton. The movie is fantastic and highly recommended!!

Friday Fun

אחד הדברים הכי אהובים עלי ביום שישי, זה לטייל בדיזינגוף. הדוכנים ברחוב, האנשים היפים שמסתובבים וכמובן ההזדמנות לבקר בכל החנויות האהובות. השבוע נוספו עוד שתיים למסלול החובה :
1. פומרנץ, דיזנגוף 134 - חנות וינטאג' עומסה בכל מיני בגדים וקשקושים מעניינים כולל שמלות כלה לא רעות בכלל. גולת הכותרת של הביקור - קניית גינס וינטג' של קלווין קליין בגזרה של ה501 של ליוויס!!!
2. Short Story , דיזינגוף 173- חנות העודפים של רשת Story שמזיקה מותגים כמו Fornarina ו- Fly London. המחירים אטרקטיביים במיוחד אך טווח המידות קטן ביותר. אני מקנאה באותה בעלת מידת נעליים 37 שתזכה ללכת בנעל סניקרס - פלטפורמה, עשויה חומר פרוותי דמוי זברה.

לטיול בדיזינגוף התלבשתי בצבעים סתווים במיוחד. לבשתי - חולצה וינטאג', מכנס ישן מברנרד, סנדלי פלטפורמה מNine West, תיק Mango, צמיד H&M ושעון Casio.

בערב יצאתי לשתות כמה בירות

לבשתי - אוברול American Apparel, עליונית Topshop, תיק - גולף, נעליים- Clarks, ושרשרת - Betsey Johnson.

שבוע מצוין לכולם!!

New Shoozies!!

Finally, I found a really great pair of brown shoes. It's so strange, brown (tan) is really hot this season but still, most of the selection in the stores is black...

This pair is really great not only because it's so damn cute, but also because it is soooo comfy!!! The sole is made of rubber (not wood) and the platform totally eliminates the heel! The height without the pain!!

Working full time at the office (corporate slave..), I rarely get the chance to take photos outdoors. I thought about a solution to this problem and this is what I've come up with - I bought a new camera (it's pink!!) and I'm gonna use my co-workers to operate the tiny thing. These photos are the first try. Big thanks to Anat who was so crazy, bouncy and absolutely hilarious that I actually have a genuine smile on my face!

Just a purple day

A purple outfit for a cooler day.
Wore a Zara shirt, H&M skirt, a scarf that I got as a gift, Irregular Choice ballerinas and my lovely Kipling bag.

A few words about nothing....
A few days ago I watched a wonderful movie by the name of Julie&Julia. It has nothing to do with fashion, but it has a lot to do with blogging. The movie made me realize how important it is to do (write) what you are passionate about. I am very passionate about fashion and makeup but there are a lot of other issues on mind (YES, there are!!) that the movie inspired me to write about. Hence, I predict that there is going to me a lot more textual content on the blog in the near future (blah blah blah)... I wonder if anybody is reading what I am writing here... In a world such ours, full, overflowed with content, it is hard to believe that anybody has the time to read your own written crap...

It's so bizarre.. I am usually quite a smiley person (right??) but when I stand up in front of the lens, BAM, my face is twitching in a very an odd expression....

Getting older...

Yap, yesterday was my birthday. Somehow, this week my body decided to really make me fell older...

Sick week

It all began on Sunday, when I decided to donate blood.

I wanted to donate blood for some time now but didn't have the guts. This Sunday, I saw the yellow ambulance parking just in front of the office I work in and said to myself - I'm gonna do it this time.

I was really scared.. I HATE needles. I filled out all the forms and the nurse put the needle inside my vein. It didn't hurt at all!!! Actually, it hurt even less then a blood test. I sat there, thinking how easy it was and that it's gonna end soon and I'm gonna head back to work. Close to the end I started to feel bad, really bad... They had to stop the flow. I was very disappointed. I thought I was stronger.. My blood pressure dropped and I felt bad for the rest of the day and in the morning of the day after.

I have to say that I sat about an hour in that ambulance and none of the people who were also donating,  felt bad. I was the only one with such a strong reaction. Perhaps because it was my first time. Perhaps for some other reason. I'm definitely gonna try again, not only because it's something that is important to do, and not only because I was told that the next time I might feel just fine, but because I also need this donation. I have too much iron in my blood and that's the only way to get rid of it.. So no, not such a philanthropist after all ;)


So Monday night I started feeling better. On Tuesday I went to work. I sat at my desk like always. Suddenly I realized I couldn't sit anymore. I got up and didn't sit for the next three days. Backache..


Birthday Day

Yesterday night I felt much better and could finally go out. Me and hubby went for sushi at Moon. And of course we couldn't walk by a music store without entering it. Hubby is a guitar addict :).

I am wearing : A Gap Tee, topshop skirt, a huge necklace from Betsey Johnson that unfortunately you cannot see in the photo, 24hrs shoes (couldn't wear heels due to the damn back..) and my brand new Kipling bag that I got as a birthday gift from the hubby!!! LOVE IT!!
